As a resident, it's important to get things fixed as you need them and BeDTLA's maintenance team was always on top of things. The Leasing team was also very helpful with our move-in and move-out. Everyone was so friendly and made living there a great experience!

Love it so far! Keep seeing homeless people in the parking garage and as someone who got their car broken into in their car port it's a bit concerning and would love more round the clock security for the garage. Community is amazing!

Great Location – The apartment is conveniently located near public transportation, grocery stores, and restaurants, making daily errands a breeze. Spacious Layout – My unit has an open floor plan with plenty of natural light, which makes the space feel inviting and airy. Amenities – The gym, pool, and rooftop lounge are well-maintained and a great perk to have. The package locker system is also very convenient.

Promptly addressing maintenance needs for our community really makes a difference . We notice all your hard work and really appreciate the people who help make dtla a wonderful , clean place to live in . Many of us are stress out from the events that occur everyday (some of which are out of our control and others are within our locus of control) . Please fix the elevator , it makes a huge difference in quality of life ( time is of the essence ). Access to 2 versus 1 elevator . Thank you for your time .

The staff is very friendly and attentive, the maintenance is fantastic and has been very helpful with all of our needs. The grounds are always kept clean and they care a lot about how it looks which is great considering how LA is. It's always quiet, there's a lot of private areas for parties and celebrations, and overall just a great community.

I love living here. The staff are friendly, the grounds are immaculate. However, my coresidents don't feel the need to clean up after their dogs in the park which is disgusting but the staff do clean up. I just wish we weren't so childish.

We’ve been living here for more than a year and so far we love the building. I only have two things to complaint, some neighbors don’t clean after their pets so you may run into some surprises in the elevator, parking lots or the rooftop, we also had an incident around 3am with some people playing music super loud, we found out that some units are rented as Airbnb so that explained everything. The staff in the building are very friendly and helpful. Especially Licia she’s amazing.

I love the facilities at Be DTLA. My partner and I enjoy ordering Chipotle from downstairs or bringing food from our unit up to the roof deck to enjoy the nice sunset and daytime views. The staff have been very responsive and friendly, as well, both at the leasing office and the facilities. We also both use the fitness center regularly, and we hope to take advantage of the weekly classes when we have a chance! Thanks for a great resident experience!

As I approach the end of my 5 1/2+ years at BeDTLA, I am reflecting on both the good and the not so great. The maintenance staff, the amenities, and the location make the BeDTLA a great place to live. However, BeDTLA is run by a corporate behemoth (Greystar), and it feels like it. There is no reward or recognition for being a long-term resident who has paid rent on time the entire time I've been here. The parking situation for guests is pretty bad, and in my time here, it was hard to find one familiar face - as the staff changed regularly.

Good things to say is the Starbucks and Grocery Outlet downstairs. I have easy access to it and I don't have to go out of my way in case of urgency. To be honest, it was good the first few months of joining. However, the safety issue has been a big concern, and due to some fan by mint going off during the night, I have many days where I had trouble sleeping. I pay 3K (which includes utility) and it is not worth in my opinion.

I’ve lived at Be for a little over a year and I can say that this is one of the best apartments in downtown la. From the 24/7 courtesy patrol to all of the kind office and maintenance staff, I always feel like i’m being taken care of. The events they throw are also spectacular! I’m very grateful to be living at such a wonderful apartment.

Overall, it's a solid complex with basic amenities (gym, small pool), general noise level is kept to a minimum, and residents keep to themselves (most times). Security concerns have been minimal given that it's in such close proximity to DTLA.

resident portal was not working correctly so i wasn't able to sign my lease and took an extra 1.5 hours move in day for the lease to filled out. had to pay my movers an additional $300 for that 1.5 hours

I’ve been living at be dtla for 2 month , and overall, it’s been a great experience. The location is ideal, with easy access to groceries and restaurants .The management team is responsive and helpful, always addressing any maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with large windows, updated appliances, a balcony. The community amenities, like the gym/pool/community lounge, add a lot of value, and the atmosphere is both friendly and peaceful. Overall, be dtla feels like home, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to live.

I was always a bit iffy about living in DTLA but when I found this spot it looked like a good area so decided to give it a shot, and it was a really good choice I’ve made this apt building is amazing , no loud noises from other neighbors , parking is not a mess , a lot of stuff nearby and plus my job is now near by. Would so recommend giving BEDTLA a shot.

I have found BeDTLA to be wonderful! Despite some difficulty with getting the mailbox together, the staff and neighbors have been very friendly and helpful. So many people helped us as we moved furniture, and we have always felt safe even after hours with the protection of the on-site security.

I’ve really appreciated the sense of community that comes with living at Be DTLA. The apartment itself is wonderful, and a fantastic place to relax—I love our balcony! In addition to that, the amenities throughout the complex make it an incredible place to belong to. I enjoy going to the Business Center to write, work, or read, and feel so grateful that such a space exists. The pool and pool house, the gym, even the hammock on the roof—every detail seems to be an intentional gift curated to the creation of a welcoming and hospitable environment. Even going on a walk throughout the complex is relaxing, passing under a tunnel of climbing jasmine or relaxing on any of the outdoor couches that are always kept so nice. It’s definitely the nicest apartment I’ve ever lived in!

Staff are super friendly and all area is always keep cleaned. Neighbors are also super nice! Only one things, i know there is rental unit and when they occupied most of them are out of control. And nobody controlled them. Could be that i’m super sensitive but right next of my only window faced to rental unit’s patio. And every Friday, or when they occupied, they came out to patio and smoke or made lot’s of noise until sun raised. I tried to call security several times but they were drunk and i don’t wanna make any issues with them. Otherwise, i can say Be DTLA is one of the best apartment !!!

Love the apartment. Issues are always fixed within the same day if not the next. Staff are all really nice and super helpful. Only real downside are some of the neighbors are messy with their dogs. But management is always actively cleaning and looking for ways to manage this incovenience.

The living space was well-designed, offering both functionality and aesthetic appeal, making it a pleasant place to relax after a day of exploring the city. The kitchen was equipped with modern appliances and was spotless, which made cooking a delightful experience. The building's amenities, such as a fitness center, pool, and common areas, were well-maintained and added value to my stay. The view of the city skyline from the apartment was breathtaking, especially during the evenings.

I've lived here for about 6 months and it's been a great experience so far. Just one minor hiccup, but it was taken care of. The maintenance team is amazing and always fulfills my requests within a couple hours. The front office is very friendly as well.

Love how fast and nicely the maintenance team responds. The renovation in the gym early this year was fantastic(hope more new equipments come in). Mostly the apartment is clean. Some residents do leave their pet's stools on the stairs and courtyards.

The signage in the underground parking deck is lacking, making it difficult to find your way around. It was difficult to find my parking space and I wasn’t given any specific directions on how to find it before moving in. I had concerns regarding the move in condition of my unit. These have not been addressed.

The staff are friendly. It's convenient to live here since Starbucks and Chipotle are right here. It would be better if the apartment could fix false fire alarm issues and make sure that there are no pet poops in public areas. I like living here overall.

The 1.5 star rating is due to consistent noise disturbances originating from the unit above mine. Focus is on consistent. 1.Unusual Daily Heavy Footsteps runing inside produce significant noise through heavy footfalls, especially during the day.Eg: Feb20 2024 from 4:40 PM TO 5:55 PM and Continue as right now.(Video recorded for verification ) 2.Daily Large Boom Sound: recurring loud booming noise that emanates from the floor of the unit above, which I believe is due to items being dropped on the floor on a daily basis. 3.Large Dog: The constant running and movement of 10mins to 1hr of a large dog within the unit above mine create a persistent disturbance throughout the day and night, exacerbating the overall noise issue. For the quality of apartments versus the price, this apartment complex is not worth what we are paying for. We have had many appliance and maintenance issues throughout our leasing term, over a dozen packages lost and or never recovered after being delivered and proven to be dropped off at the apartment. The parking garage isn’t secure as many people have had their car broken into in the parking garage with no cameras. We had water leaking from our light fixture in the kitchen and we were worried about being seriously hurt. They have a nice community of people living here but for the price we pay it is ridiculous to have so many things wrong with the place.

The apartment is comfortable and I enjoy most of amenities. One complaint I have is retrieving delivered packages. I have had several packages either said to be missing or show up several days later. Regardless of the carrier - UPS, FedEx, USPS - there seems to be a problem or miscommunication with when a package is delivered and when I am able to get it. When waiting to get my packages, I have also encountered other residents with similar problems. This becomes very frustrating over time since it feels that I can never reliably know when I can get my packages. The Be DTLA office will tell me that it was never received and that I'd have to contact the carrier. Then I'd have to contact the carrier and they would show me proof that it already arrived. This would cause me to spend so much time trying to track my packages that inexplicably disappear or are late. I am not sure what's happening but this is the only apartment where I've run into this problem regularly.

I super love their internal amenities (the gym, the study area, the lockers, the rooftop, the courtyard, the parking, and above all the grocery outlet downstairs). Overall good. Definitely not happy with the reduced hours of the Concierge desk which places a greater distraction on Coueteay Patrol. Also the gym needs more frequent monitoring/pick up since some residents leave weights unracked or on equipment/can’t put functional equipment back up. Also the exercise balls are all under inflated! I recently had the pleasure of moving into a new apartment that has truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the building, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the things that immediately caught my attention was the wide range of amenities available to residents. It's like living in a luxurious resort! The state-of-the-art fitness center has everything I need to stay active and healthy, from top-of-the-line equipment to group exercise classes. I no longer need to spend money on a gym membership because everything I need is right here. The management team here truly goes above and beyond to ensure that residents have a positive living experience. They are always available to address any concerns or maintenance requests promptly. I want to highlight Jonathan Pos. The unsung hero! He is always attentive and always willing to help. He’s calm and cool under pressure and I really appreciate the way he handles resident services and inquiries. One of the best! The staff here are amazing in general. The porters do an excellent job keeping up with the maintenance. The bad - THE TENANTS. I wish our neighbors would treat our grounds with more respect. Curbing their pets, trash, use of equipment, smoking… the staff works really hard to maintain the area and I wish tenants would do the same

I love the building & all the amenities. I’m glad that there are people who clean the common areas daily. If I could offer some feedback for improvement, it would be to shampoo the rugs on each floor at least bi weekly or monthly. Also I would love to see some free weight machines added to the gym.

living here is alright. when we moved it there were roaches in our apartment. our showers were clogged and maintenance made comments how this apartment was not “move in ready”. after we signed our lease, it is really hard to get in touch with any staff. usually they are not in the front desk and no one picks up when we call. overall, it has been getting better besides those issues. the resident events are fun, the amenities are nice (except none of the grills work). when we can find staff members they are always more than happy to help which is wonderful! work orders get done quickly and efficiently.

The entire staff at BeDTLA are amazing and I'm happy to be a resident here. The amenities are great and are taken advantage of by many of the residents. One item that is generally liked by the residents and allows for them to get to know the staff are the themed events hosted every few months. Dog play area needs more attention to. Owners do not pick up after themselves and doesn’t seem to get looked at by the crew in the building. Every time i walk on roof top the dog area is beyond disgusting with feces. Otherwise everything is fine .

The apartment amenities are great and it is quiet. The building did a great job with soundproofing, we have never had any issues with noise or neighbors. Maintenance is very quick to respond to any issues which is a huge plus. I just wish they spent a bit more money on getting nicer cabinets and better lighting in the unit.

The carpet is covered in pee stains and nobody bothers to clean it, I had a friend come by and visit and immediately she said the hallways smell terrible. Delivery people also don’t exactly know where to go and delivered my items to the leasing office.

Great experience living here. Probably the best option to live in dtla! Very convenient, stores are just downstairs of the apartment. Overall very satisfied. Clean, quiet and convenient. We have very good infrastructure compared to other residential districts around. Grocery outlets, Starbucks, Chipotle, etc. always provide good accessibility. I especially like the gym in this apartment. Too loud and sensitive fire alarm and rather high garbage disposal cost are unfortunate, but other advantages work more for me.

After my old car was broken into and stolen twice, I had the misfortune of having some goods stolen inside the mailroom and the only thing they told me was: we can't do anything and we can't show the camera video. And no one helped in the 3 situations. Disappointed.

Good but having a hard time with the upstair noise. If you are sensitive, you shouldn’t live at 3rd floor because that would be the noisiest floor. Really want to move to another unit because of this.

I have been living here for 4 months and my experience is not too bad. However, as a resident without any pet, I get annoyed when I see pet feces in the elevator, hallway, rooftop, and parking lot. Usually, they get cleaned pretty soon, but I still get disappointed. But, except for few minor issues, BeDTLA is a pretty cool place to call a home.

The leasing department did a fantastic job. However, the fact that the management company does not take electronic payment for the initial deposit and rent made it extremely difficult for someone that was moving from out of town and whose bank did not have a local presence.

The community is well-maintained and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The open spaces are particularly impressive, featuring wide walkways, greenery, and comfortable seating areas. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, such as the lighting that was strategically placed to highlight the community's stunning architecture. The apartment units themselves were equally impressive. Each unit was spacious and well-appointed, with modern finishes and plenty of natural light. The kitchens were well-equipped with high-quality appliances. In addition to the great physical spaces, the community had a number of fantastic amenities. These included a state-of-the-art fitness center, a nice swimming pool, I can see why this community would be such a great place to call home.

The experience I've had living here so far has been unbelievable. I work 2 miles away so traffic is no longer an issue. The freeway entrance is so close that I can get to work in ten minutes. Having the Grocery Outlet on premises also makes a world of a difference especially when you're missing that one ingredient in the middle of preparing your meal. Having a 24 hour fitness center insures no down time or boring episodes. The heated pool is also a great amenity not to mention the social events that take place in the pool house. But most of all I love the staff. They treat everyone like family and make you feel as if you were the only guest there. I can't leave out the tenants, it's like they are hand picked. It must be because they are very happy to live here. Keep up the great work, it is greatly appreciated!

Sweet location. Super spacious apartment. Everyone seems friendly. Had a few packages stolen that were delivered to the locker room but not put inside a locker -overall I order a lot of packages and have gotten them 95% of the time. Really pet friendly too, the dog loves to sunbath on the roof!

I loved living here, until I renewed my contract and a week later they broke into my husband's car and stole a lot of things, and when I thought it couldn't be worse, 15 days later they broke into and stole again. And as the condominium informed me, they are not responsible for it. Disappointing and a huge loss.

Pool respect is an issue. People bring large families who don't live in the building and don't have respect for existing residents and do inappropriate things like move your towels/items off of a seat when you leave to use the restroom or crowd around you to make you uncomfortable if they want to sit on a space you have already occupied. Please make adult only days/ hours. Large families are welcome, but not every single day from Thursday-sunday and not if they can't mind their own business. Give the rest of us some peace and a decent afternoon.

Everything is almost perfect! My only big complaint is that when I walk out my apt I am greeted with a very strong urine smell more than likely from dogs of people that live on the 7th floor. It’s not just in front of my apt but it seems like my area is targeted the most I’ve already placed a work order. I hope something can be done about this as it’s not the most pleasant thing to walk out too

There is no reliable knowledge transfer between staff and security. I go to resident services and follow up on something and usually get a response such as "Oh, I wasn't working that day." *Obviously* each staff member isn't working every day, but you could at least have some sort of notes system or case records so residents don't have to explain their wholw situation every time they need something from staff. Security obviously doesn't share important information between shifts, too, given that they have to now physically chalk cars to determine how long they've been there. Wish they could have at least done that before they towed my car after explicitly telling me they would make a note to NOT have it towed.

The amenities- good. the maintenance staff has been great. I still have the issue of the strong pungent smell of urine/feces in my hallway from a dog that was obviously using it as a toilet. It is disgusting and embarrassing when I have guests. I am only staying in the apartment on Saturdays so can only imagine how upset I would be if I was there more nights. Additionally, I have had the police at my door twice. The first time was at 11:30 pm when I was alone and asleep due to a domestic violence situation that was reported. Ironically I am a Therapist that specializes in domestic violence. The police were nice & went through the apartment - we both had concerns about who the victim actually was that did NOT get help. The second time a card was left and when I called the police they wanted me to come in for fingerprints due to a break-in, which I assume was across the hall as I saw a camera installed on their door handle the next day. I called the office to ask and received no reply.

It's been about a month since I moved to this apartment. BeDTLA is well-managed apartment. The apartment maintenance staffs clean the rooftop, floor carpets, and other common areas constantly. Good amenities and on-site grocery market, Starbucks, and Chipotle. Leasing officers are providing nice service to residents, and there is no complaints so far from me. Ruby helped us transferring to the new unit, and she is amazing and super helpful! Also, I would like to thank Rene, maintenance staff, who changed our window screen, dishwasher rack, kitchen lights, and other requests. He was very kind and tried to help us on what we had to change when we just moved-in. Thank you so much Ruby and Rene!

The rent increase for the lease renewal was insane. Other than my doormat being stolen and there being no cameras in the building besides my ring and them saying it’s against the law for them to have cameras in the common areas when I’ve been to a few Apt buildings downtown and they all have cameras in the elevator and on each floor. They do keep the building clean and maintenance is very nice.

I love this place! Too pricey! Completely out of my range! The building is average! Definitely not worth the cost of living here! Be DTLA is a dope spot! Great location in LA! The amenities such as the gym, pool, and rooftop are top of the line! Love being able to workout and then walk 10 feet to cool off in the pool! My experience at bedtla has been wonderful so far, aside from the fire alarm incidents that took place and were out of the apartment’s control. Overall very happy.

Great amenities and they are all kept very clean. Maintenance staff is very responsive and helpful. Not many complaints besides the dog poo in the hallways that I see very frequently.
